High School Handbook Template

All page elements, including text, headers, footers, artwork,
and page numbers, must be contained within the yellow areas.

Do Submit:

  • Create pages by downloading our Microsoft® Word Templates from the Download Center. Our templates help ensure accurate page sizes and margins. Use the CORRECT template as we have two sizes (one for Kindergarten, Primary, Elementary, and Middle School; one for High School). Once pages are complete, convert file to a PDF using our PDF Creator or mail us a hard copy.
  • Page numbers MUST stay centered within the bottom margins of the pages (see above). Set the footer margin at .5" or 1.75" (depending on template), or page numbers may get cut off.
  • Artwork and photos from the "Acceptable" list.
  • If sending a digital file: convert into Portable Document Format (PDF) using only our "PDF Creator," as this process embeds fonts. Fonts MUST be embedded. Files in other formats cannot be used. We prefer all files sent via our web site.
  • If mailing a hard copy: Mail laser printed pages on white paper, printed on only one side. Do NOT fax pages.

Do NOT Submit:

  • Pages with colored type or paper, printed on a dot matrix or color printer, or printed on both sides of a sheet of paper.
  • Pages in the wrong size (e.g., high school pages on the larger template). If we reduce the pages to fit, we will not be responsible for hard-to-read type or undesirable results.
  • Pages with incorrect dates or corrections.
  • Artwork or text with staples, tape, glue, rips, or smudges on it.
  • Material from the "NOT Acceptable" list.

TAKE NOTE

We accept digital files in Portable Document Format (PDF) only. Learn more.
